OUR STORY
AT THE FOREFRONT OF INNOVATION SINCE 1990
1990
This family run business was started in 1990. Having previously provided on-site shot blasting and wet spraying services Specialised Coatings found a niche in the market and proceeded to found Specialised Coatings.
1991
Specialised Coatings offered shot blasting and stove enamelling to businesses throughout West Yorkshire and began introducing Powder Coating and Wet Spraying to their service portfolio too.
2000
Now with over 20 employees, two powder coating and wet spraying plants, and an automated production line it was time to relocate to a bigger premise in order to facilitate the growth plans. In the new premises, the portfolio of services expanded and the business offering increased.
2000 - 2010
Continuous investment into all areas of resource, from plant and equipment to comprehensive staff development programmes allowed for perpetual growth. Specialised Coatings began to benchmark the standard and set the precedent within the industry. This propelled the business into a new sphere of operation.
TODAY
Firmly established as new generation Industrial Coatings specialists, Specialised Coatings operates out of a 3-acre site, with over 60 employees and a multitude of services under their offering.
